About the role:
The Community Liaison Officer engages with the community, to contribute and support strategies
and programs.
ilability on Wednesdays and weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), and after hours as required.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide front of house services including welcoming visitors and helping with inquiries
- Facilitate programs including site tours, school holiday activities, education programs and group greetings
- Support functions & events as required, including set up/pack down
- Effectively manage visitor feedback
- Ensure a safe, comfortable, and clean environment for all visitors
- Administrative tasks as needed
About you:
- A passion for working with people
- Relevant experience in customer service, events, or community engagement
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team
- Strong communication skills including presentation skills
- Ability to operate audio visual presentation technology
Mandatory requirements:
- Availability/ flexibility to work on Wednesdays and weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and after hours as required
- Current drivers license and vehicle
- Working with Children Check (for paid work)
