Specialist Assessor
NSW Government is looking for multiple Specialist Assessors to join them for a 3 month contract to assist with grants to those affected by natural disasters.
Location: Work from Home (Must be located in NSW)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Estimated 3 Months
Pay Rate: $37.33/hour + super
Hours: 7 hours/day (8 AM - 5 PM), Mon - Fri
Work Set up: Remote
As a Specialist Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting thorough and timely assessments of grant applications. You will ensure compliance with eligibility criteria and provide payment support for grants, rebates, and vouchers to assist individuals and communities impacted by disasters and emergencies.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake assessments on matters referred to make accountable determinations to facilitate appropriate client/customers outcomes by applying relevant knowledge, legislation, regulations and procedures.
- Provide timely and accurate information and advice to customers on determination outcome of matters referred to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Provide administrative services, respond to enquiries and complete a range of processing activities with accuracy and efficiency to support quality customer service outcomes.
- Support customers with a variety of complex issues, gather and determine outcomes, and communicate these outcomes to the customers.
About you:

- Self-motivated who can work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in customer service
- Experience in grants, rebates and vouchers administration is preferable, but not necessary
- Experience using Salesforce and Genesys is preferable
- Must haves: Empathy/clear communication style & great customer service
Additional Information:
- Immediate start required - No leave during the 3 month contract period.
- Pre Employment Checks: Police check, two reference checks
