Your New Company/Role:
As one of the established and rapidly growing industries, my client is looking for an experienced Credit Officer to join their growing team, based in North Ryde, 2113. This is a temporary part time position (3 days per week) and subject to extension/permanency. The successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Australia as this role is highly likely to get extended or turn into permanent hence require someone who can commit to that if that happens.
About the Opportunity / Responsibilities:
Reporting into a supportive and nurturing Manager:
Your duties include:
- To minimize the credit risk by managing the volume and the outstanding period of accounts receivables
- To proactively manage customer master data
- To measure compliance and performance of accounts receivable volume and aging as well as AOD & DSO towards rolling forecast goals - improving cashflow
- Ensure company compliance to Credit Management Policy
- To minimize the balance overdue by 60+ days
- Closely monitor the 60+ days overdue balance and take feasible actions to reduce it
- To minimize collection risk, collaborate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to determine whether to hold or release orders.
- Able to hand customer interactions - solving queries and any related questions
- Perform monthly reconciliation of SAP and master data alongside record in the AR folder.
- Have some cross over and work with the offshore team
- Any other reasonable duties that may be required
Ideal Profile
This opportunity is for someone who has experience within end to end Accounts Receivable/Credit function with an Accounting background. You will also bring:
- Diploma or Bachelors in Accounting & Finance/equivalent qualification or relevant work experience
- Prior experience in a similar role ( 3 years or more )
- Strong verbal and communication skills - as there is a fair share of customer interactions
- Exposure to SAP system - highly desirable but not mandatory
- Intermediate Excel proficiency
- Great time management skills and accuracy
- Someone who can work autonomously and take ownership of task
Benefits
- $36 - $44 per hour + Super
- Part-time 3 months temporary and subject to extension/permanency (3 days per week)
