Crane Operator Opportunity – Statewide Work in Tasmania
Randstad Tasmania is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join a reputable company renowned for its innovation and commitment to excellence.
This is a unique opportunity to work on various sites across Tasmania, contributing to exciting projects while being part of dynamic and supportive teams. The ideal candidate will be multiskilled and adaptable, willing to take a hands-on approach both on-site and in a precast yard as needed.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Crane Operator to operate cranes in both a precast yard environment and on site. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating a 100t crane and a 75t crawler crane
- Moving trailers and unloading trucks
- Operating 4t or 12t telehandlers and a 20t Franna
- Assisting with concreting and other hands-on tasks in the precast yard when required
Key Requirements
- Essential:
- White Card
- CO-C6 Crane Ticket
- Intermediate Rigger qualification
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
- Flexibility to work extended hours
- Strong adherence to safety protocols
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening

- Telehandler licence
