Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare transactional taxes for both Australia and New Zealand, including Payroll taxes, BAS, and Withholding taxes.
- Assist with the preparation of company tax returns for Australia and New Zealand.
- Support transfer pricing documentation, including Country by Country reporting for both regions.
- Review and prepare Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns for Australia and New Zealand.
- Assist in preparing periodic tax effect accounting entries, including quarterly tax packs and annual true-up calculations.
- Calculate monthly PAYG Instalments for the Australian Tax Consolidated Group and NZ provisional tax instalments.
- Handle balance sheet reconciliations for tax-related accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Liaise with Randstad Head Office regarding monthly/quarterly tax inquiries and reporting issues.
- Assist with tax authority reviews and work with external advisors when required
- Continuously seek opportunities to automate and improve existing tax processes.
Key Requirements:
- Degree qualified with a minimum of 2 years of public practice experience.
- CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion.
- In-depth knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, employment taxes, and indirect taxes.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage priorities and workloads effectively.
