This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced corporate services specialist who thrives on challenges and being a pivotal part of a senior team to be responsible for the leadership of a customer-centric team and management of a range of corporate services functions that support regulatory outcomes and contribute to the achievement of the agency’s objectives.
Accountable to the Chief Executive your key focus will be:
- Manage the Corporate Services function through continual improvement of processes and systems to ensure consistency and quality in line with best practice in government.
- Develop, implement and maintain strategic and operational and performance management frameworks, programs of work, and procedures that deliver corporate activities across the agency.
- Lead, manage and provide strategic advice to support the human resources function for the organisation.
- Manage and provide expert advice to support the finance management function, including budgetary requirements, financial authorisations and delegations.
- Negotiate and manage the organisation’s service level agreements and contracts and support risk related activities and functions of the agency in line with the Risk Management Framework.
- Provide high quality, accurate and timely advice and recommendations, both written and verbal including briefings and reports to the Chief Executive and/or the Board.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired objectives and outcomes, and to ensure all responsibilities are undertaken effectively.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a senior corporate services management role and understanding of government best practice
- Proven experience in leading, managing and supporting human resource functions, financial management functions and other associated organisational responsibilities including procurement and IT
- High level experience working with senior executive with the ability to collaborate, support provide strategic advice together with exemplary leadership and people management skills
