The Role
With high commercial acumen, communication and excellent negotiation skills for your work you will be required to work well autonomously, but also well within a team, communicating effectively with the General Manager in their Western Sydney operations.
You will be a focussed negotiator, managing the financial aspects of their packages for mixed commercial, residential or industrial Projects over $2 million AUD.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Progress claim assistance, external variations, preparation of tender packages.
- Reviewing, negotiating, and finalising contracts.
- Working closely with Accounts team on Invoicing (Xero software advantageous)
- Administering RFI’s.
- Preparing contract packages (scopes, procurement and scheduling).
To be Successful:
- You will be CA with accountability, commitment and excellent client facing communication skills, and have over 3 years plus experience working for a reputable Australian recognised Subcontractor on mixed projects over $1 million. - Scaffolding experience desired but not essential for the role.
- Have worked for an Australian recognised building sub - contractor in the same role.
- Degree or diploma qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management.
- High exposure to scopes of work and picking contracts apart.
- Experience in contract claims, variations, EOT’s and cost planning.
- Passionate person, with a thirst for a challenge and energy to achieve.
- Proficient in software packages, ideally Excel, MS suite.
