Content Server Technical Analyst
Join an excellent state government organisation based in the south eastern suburbs! This role is part of the Platform Management Team, which oversees the management and continuous improvement of various Content Management Systems and Applications. Specifically, it falls within the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) sub-team, where the primary responsibility is to provide support and drive enhancements for the Content Server platform. Additionally, the role includes offering Level 3 support for basic SharePoint requests.

... - Manage end-to-end routine maintenance tasks for the Content Server (On-Premises version), including updating the Content Server suite, applying patches, and other related activities.
- Demonstrate expertise in Content Server administration settings, such as records management, security clearance, retention, xECM engineering, and DMS (Drawing Management Solution).
- Provide efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly support for service desk requests related to Content Server and basic SharePoint issues, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
- Assist fellow ECM team members during peak demand periods, including testing, document creation, and other support activities.
- Actively participate in projects and micro-projects, contributing to the development or enhancement of applications.
- Engage in customer training and guidance sessions, offering support on the use and maintenance of ECM technology platforms.
To succeed in this position you will have:
- Extensive technical expertise in OpenText Content Server 23.x/24.x across the following modules:
- Configure, install, and maintain OpenText Content Server and its related modules
- Administer Content Server settings
- Manage Content Server Authentication Server/Services (OTDS)
- Oversee search administration
- Sync user and AD groups
- Handle license management
- Configure Intelligent Viewer settings
- Perform Windows patching on the Content Server cluster
- Apply software and security patches to Content Server
- Develop and maintain API integrations to connect OpenText Content Server with other enterprise systems and applications
- Upgrade Content Server versions across DEV/TEST/PROD environments as required
- Configure OpenText xECM for Engineering Solutions, vEng, Engineering Drawings, and DMS modules of Content Server
- Write and manage WebReports/LiveReports
- Implement custom SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures to enhance Content Server functionality
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, optimize SQL queries for efficiency, and maintain overall database health
- Understand and implement PROV and VPDSF compliance requirements
- Integrate Teleform with Content Server
- Configure and manage Enterprise Connect with Content Server
- Provide technical support and user training to optimize the use of OpenText Content Server
- Ensure data security and regulatory compliance, including Retention, Disposal, Records Management, and Security Clearance policies
- Implement and manage backup and restore procedures to safeguard critical data
- Document system configurations, policies, procedures, and best practices
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and execute recovery procedures when necessary
- Handle service requests for the ECM team related to Content Server and SharePoint (submitted via support desk, emails, calls, etc.), investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
- Demonstrate the ability to work with demanding customers, offering effective solutions while adhering to governance and delivery standards.
- Basic knowledge and experience in supporting SharePoint requests across the following technologies:
- M365, with a focus on MS Teams
- SharePoint Online
- PowerApps and Power Automate
