Due to the ongoing success and expansion of our client's operations, we are seeking dynamic Site Managers to play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing construction projects in Northern and North West Tasmania. About the Role:
As a Construction Site Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth execution of construction projects. Your tasks will include overseeing safety, managing site administration, supervising contractors and personnel, and ensuring that construction standards and deadlines are met to the highest quality. You will also be instrumental in driving project success and efficiency on site.
The Ideal Applicant:
We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in managing large-scale, multimillion-dollar construction projects. If you have the experience, leadership skills, and ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously, we want to hear from you!
Essential Qualifications/Certifications:
- A Certificate III in Carpentry or Carpentry & Joinery
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Site Manager position within commercial construction
- A demonstrated ability to successfully manage commercial construction projects from inception through to client handover
- Strong analytical and evaluative skills to interpret plans, contracts, and tender documents
- High attention to detail with excellent computer skills, including familiarity with specialised software and Microsoft Office
- Certificate IV in Building and Construction (or willingness to attain) is desirable
