Job Purpose: Support the Enterprise Governance team to improve and embed systematic compliance management, reporting, and a strong compliance culture across the organization, ensuring compliance with legislation, regulations, policies, and audits.
Role Accountabilities:
... - Provide compliance management expertise and guidance, supporting compliance training and fostering a compliance culture.
- Maintain compliance registers, administer compliance actions, and support compliance reporting to senior management.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of compliance policies, frameworks, and documents.
- Ensure adherence to Compliance and Conflict of Interest policies, managing breaches and reporting.
- Manage compliance with the Prudential Insurance Standard and coordinate internal and external audits.
- Build relationships with stakeholders, analyze compliance data, and provide reporting insights for decision-making.
- 3 month full time position
- Geelong office location, with flexible hybrid working – 3 days office attendance required with the opportunity to work remotely 2 days a week
- $68 an hour + super
Key selection criteria:
- Tertiary qualification or practical experience in compliance, governance, or business disciplines.
- Experience in compliance, governance, or audit roles, with knowledge of public sector compliance obligations.
- Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels, with high-level written, verbal, and analytical abilities.
- Experience in or understanding of compensable or social insurance schemes, with strong reporting, presentation, and attention to detail skills.
