Community Engagement Advisor for a 6 to 9 month contract in the Sutherland area to play a vital role in fostering collaboration and ensuring our community feels actively involved in our work. You'll be a key player in developing and implementing engagement strategies that drive positive change and create a vibrant, connected community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Community Engagement: Develop and implement effective engagement strategies, ensuring community voices inform decision-making
- Provide Strategic Advice: Offer expert guidance and support to business units on community engagement and communications best practices
- Build Stakeholder Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with diverse community members and stakeholders
- Manage Communications: Craft compelling communications materials across various channels to reach and engage the community
- Measure Impact: Evaluate the effectiveness of engagement activities and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
Key Requirements:
- Education: Degree in Communications or a related field, or demonstrated relevant experience
- IAP2 certification
- Experience: Significant experience in community and stakeholder engagement roles
- Expertise: A strong understanding of community engagement methodologies and experience in developing, delivering, and measuring engagement strategies
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to engage with diverse groups of people across diverse channels, tailoring your approach accordingly
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships
- Licenses: Current NSW Driver's Licence
