About you
- Highly organized and able to juggle multiple schedules, tasks and deadlines with an ability to prioritize workloads
- Experience working as a Communications and Public relations coordinator for Tourism and Events.
- Experience building relationships in media, advertising, journalist, publishing networks
- Writing skills - draft media releases, reports, social copy, EDMs and more
- A confident personality not shy of picking the phone to talk to all levels of stakeholders.
- Willingness to take direction and contribute to the positive workplace culture.
- Published work that shows experience writing for a blog, website, news or other media platform
- Sound Understanding of Media accreditation, publishing, promotions and advertising
Must Have to apply
- MUST BE A RESIDENT OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA WITH FULL WORK RIGHTS
- Qualification in journalism, arts, design, marketing, communications, public relations, tourism or other relevant discipline
- Previous experience of 2-3 years as a Communications & Public relations Coordinator
- Class C Driver's Licence and willingness to drive
- Out of hours work, intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
- Previous government experience is highly desirable but not essential.
- Have a can-do attitude with a desire to deliver outcomes for the team.
- Friendly, dependable, collaborative, fun, outgoing, willing to learn
