My client is a leading Power Engineering company, looking to grow their construction team due to a strong pipeline of projects. Dedicated to shaping the future of energy through cutting-edge power generation solutions. Due to a strong pipeline of projects they are seeking a skilled Commissioning Coordinator to join their dynamic team Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, this position will lead commissioning of complex systems, ensuring adherence to high standards and timely project delivery.

The Role

• Leadership & Coordination: Lead commissioning teams through factory acceptance testing, installation verification, pre-commissioning, and performance testing.
• Safety & Compliance: Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards. Identify and address hazards, and enforce company policies.
• Technical Expertise: Develop and manage commissioning plans, coordinate resources, and ensure systems meet performance specifications.
• Customer Focus: Build strong customer relationships and deliver services that exceed expectations.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive internal system improvements and enhance external service delivery.
• Communication: Effectively communicate within teams and with stakeholders to ensure clarity and influence project outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Electrical Trade, or Engineering degree
• High voltage experience or qualification (Desirable)
• Hazardous area experience or qualifications
• Suitable level of industry experience in power generation or related heavy industry (Oil & Gas, Mining or industrial) Aligned with the construction commissioning and testing
• Extensive technical knowledge and practical experience of testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning, power generation plant and equipment preferred.
• Proven track record of success in commissioning roles, comfortable with both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Industrial control systems experience (Desirable)
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must have a track record of meeting project deadlines and managing budgets effectively.
• MS Office
• Drivers License ( Essential)
• Hold working rights for Australia
