Key duties:

• Proactively supporting clients to recover debts
• Use judgment to make effective assessments and decisions
• Providing helpful advice and consistent information/education to clients
• Interpret relevant legislation to make sound decisions
• Negotiate appropriate actions to recover outstanding and finalising debts
• Provide excellent service at all times in line with procedures

Skills/experience required:

• Previous recoveries/collections experience highly advantageous
• Previous experience in a high volume contact centre environment, with an ability to adhere to KPIs
• Proven experience dealing with difficult conversations, with strong negotiation skills
• Ability to quickly develop an understanding of legislations, policies and procedures
• High levels of resilience
• Able to work on rotating shifts Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
• Can undergo a criminal history check to be successful for the role

This assignment will begin in December 2024/January 2025, as a 2 month assignment initially, with the potential to extend. This is a standard 38 hour working week, paying $49.40 per hour plus super.
