- Community based mental health care within the hospital.
- Competent in assessments & recommendations.
- Assist in hospital avoidance programs.
- Acute crisis management & plans within mental health
- Discharge to the community team once assessment has been finalised.
- Autonomous work.
- Create management plans.
- Senior management experience required.
Essential requirements:
- Must be registered as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who hold a current practicing certificate.
- Holds a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years Mental health Nursing experience plus demonstrated expertise as a Clinical Nurse
- Demonstrated expertise in the mental health nursing practice in accordance with the relevant standards.
