A small boutique Sydney based engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Civil Structural Design Engineer to provide quality designs for commercial buildings, infrastructure (rail) projects and residential buildings. Suitable candidates will have:

5-10 years’ experience in civil / structural design
Have relevant design experience for commercial/residential buildings and infrastructure projects
Able to write reports and other formal documents and support tender submissions.
Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with clients.
Be able to work autonomously

Key Responsiblities Include:

Designing/modelling
Report Writing
Drafting

Suitable candidates must be proficient in software programs which include:

Autocad (preferred) or Microstation
12D (preferred) or Civil 3D
DRAINSs or HEC RAS stormwater and flood modelling
Tedds / structural programs
Able to support Tender Submissions

This position can be based anywhere on the East Coast of Australia with fully remote working possible. The client is looking to gain some office space in North Sydney however, at the moment the role is a work from home opportunity which offers significant benefits for candidates who require complete flexibility.
