The role
- Maintaining natural and built waterways and drainage systems by removing litter and debris from civil assets. Litter and debris are removed both manually (rake, shovel) and utilising machinery and trucks.
- Operating hand and power tools, such as rakes, shovels, drills, brushcutters.
- Responding to water pollution events e.g. installing booms.
- Minor installation and repairs to drainage and security assets, e.g. securing grills, repairing gates.
What you need
- Available to work from 7:00am - 3:30pm (For hot days over 35 degrees it will be a 6:30am start).
- Ability to swim at a competent level due to any work near,on or in water.
- Australian Drivers Licence
