Your role would include overseeing all aspects of the centre - daily routines, staffing, ratios, policies, regulations; rostering; staff management; parent relationships; working in conjunction with an experienced assistant coordinator ; implement policies and procedures; attend staff meetings where required; ensure the centre is providing the highest quality care and education. You would report to the Manager of Children Youth & Family Services.
This position is working each day Monday - Friday for 7.6 hours per day on a shift to be negotiated.
As this is a contract role you would be employed on a casual basis and paid between $54 - $63 an hour plus casual loading and superannuation. This Service is located in Hughesdale.

The ideal candidate will:
Hold their completed Early Childhood Teaching degree or Diploma of Children services
Hold a current First Aid Certificate
Be experienced managing a team of educators
Ideally be experienced as a centre manager
Be confident with leading and mentoring staff
Be experienced handling parent enquiries and conducting tours/orientations
Be experienced writing and implementing policies and procedures
Have a solid understanding of the EYLF
Have a solid understanding of new VICTORIAN regulations/legislation
Be flexible to commit to a casual contract
