The Role

As Chief Financial Officer, you will lead a close-knit Finance team of four, ensuring the organisation maintains strong financial governance and meets obligations under the Financial Management Act 1994. This hands-on leadership role is pivotal in supporting the organisation's strategic goals and ensuring financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial operations, including budgeting, financial performance monitoring, and reporting.
• Provide assurance to the Board, CEO, and Audit & Risk Committee on financial management, compliance, and governance.
• Deliver strategic advice on financial sustainability and risk management.
• Oversee payroll systems, ensuring legislative compliance.
• Supervise the preparation of key documentation, including the Annual Report and Corporate Plan.
• Develop financial management capabilities across the organisation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Effectively manage and support direct reports, consultants, and contractors.

What We’re Looking For:

• CPA or CA qualification is essential.
• A minimum of 5+ years of leadership experience in financial management.
• Proven ability to manage complex financial systems, governance, and reporting.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and team leadership skills.
• A collaborative and hands-on approach to finance leadership.
