Change Management Officer - Federal Agency - 6 Month Contract
Contract opportunity available for an experienced Change Management Officer to join a Federal Government Agency. You will support the design and delivery of a change management approach that helps to drive key new functions for the Agency. This position will play a key role in maximising adoption of new frameworks and processes, developing strategies to mitigate resistance, and supporting key internal stakeholder relationships to effectively embed change.
Essential requirements to be considered for this role:
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Candidate must be an Australian citizen
- Based in Brisbane
What You Will Do:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of key change management documents, including the Change and Adoption Plan, Stakeholder Engagement Plan, and Change Implementation Schedule.
- Create engaging communication materials, such as stakeholder newsletters, intranet content, and change-related content for working group meetings.
- Support capability uplift initiatives by contributing to the design and delivery of education and training plans.
- Gather and perform preliminary analysis of stakeholder feedback from surveys, meetings, and workshops.
- Assist in identifying and addressing areas of change resistance and track the progress of key change readiness activities.
What You Need to Apply for This Role:
- Demonstrated knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools and an understanding of how people go through change.
- Proven experience in managing stakeholder engagement and associated change and transition activities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in diverse teams.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and strategic directions in line with program goals.
- Ability to provide accurate and specialised advice regarding change management.
