This EXCEEDING non-for-profit child care service based in Randwick is searching for Certificate III and/or Diploma educators to join their team working in their toddlers room. The centre has a very low staff turnover and it’s the chance to join a strong team who are highly dedicated to providing the best quality of education which is why they are exceeding in all areas. You will be implementing a high quality program in collaboration with other educators. They are located in a busy part of Randwick where public transport is easily accessible and shops are close by.

The Position:

As an Assistant Educator, you will be responsible to:

• Create and maintain a fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment in the toddlers room
• Create and maintain meaningful and positive relationships with children and families
• Implement the educational program for the toddlers room through intentional activities, an extension of spontaneous activities and interests and family input
• Work alongside and collaboratively with other educators and leaders within the service to ensure successful learning outcomes for children
• Adhere to NQS as well as company policies and procedures to ensure the service is compliant

About you

To be successful in this position, you must have:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care OR an ACECQA equivalent qualification
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current First-aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
• Food Handling Certificate or willing to obtain
• Unlimited Australian working rights
• Prior experience in working in childcare
• Must be able to work rotating shifts
