Randstad is seeking experienced and motivated tradespeople to join our team for a 4-day bi-annual maintenance shutdown at our clients chemical plant in Port Botany. This is your chance to contribute your expertise and earn excellent rates with significant overtime potential.
Shutdown Dates: 4 days: Monday, May 5th - Thursday, May 8th, 2025
Work Schedule:
- 10-14 hour shifts (dependent per day)
- Start time: 6:00 AM
- Penalty rates apply after 8 hours (time and half, double time)
We are looking for individuals with proven experience in:
- Mechanical Fitters: All aspects of plant maintenance, including dismantling, inspecting, repairing, and reassembling mechanical equipment. Experience with pumps, valves, compressors, and rotating equipment is highly desirable.
- Boilermakers: Welding, fabrication, and repair of pressure vessels, pipelines, and structural steel. Experience with various welding processes and materials is essential.
- Riggers: Safe and efficient lifting and movement of heavy equipment and materials. Intermediate rigger tickets and experience with various lifting techniques are required.
