About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in the harnessing of existing relationships and increasing market share through sustainable growth in South East QLD.
Key responsibilities include
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the freight forwarding and international logistics sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with the operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients, showcasing services and solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in freight forwarding and international logistics, with a strong ability to drive business growth and build lasting relationships with clients.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the freight forwarding and international logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and international trade regulations.
- Proven ability to generate leads, close sales, and achieve targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
