About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Analyst or Consultant to join the team for a 6-month contract, supporting a Federal Government client. In this role, you will assist with IRAP (Information Security Registered Assessors Program) preparation, focusing on documentation and readiness activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their cybersecurity and governance experience within a consulting environment while working on critical government projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in IRAP preparation, including documentation, evidence gathering, and compliance support.
- Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure readiness for assessment.
- Support governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities aligned with government security frameworks.
- Contribute to reporting and process improvements for security assurance projects.

About You
- At least one IRAP preparation engagement, supporting documentation and readiness (not assessment).
- Strong understanding of Australian Government security standards, including ISM and PSPF.
- Experience with risk, compliance, or cybersecurity documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a consulting team.
