About the Role:
We’re seeking a skilled individual to assist with civil works for the Council's Traffic Network Services team. As a 2IC reporting to the Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring strict adherence to WHS practices. Your responsibilities will include:
Interpreting and working from site plans and drawings.
Concreting/Formwork duties.
Reporting to TNS Supervisors and Team Leaders.
Assisting with the removal or replacement of traffic signal and communication pits containing bonded asbestos around electrical and fibre optic cables.
Assisting with the installation of traffic signal footings.
Conducting remediation works, including pit replacements and upgrades.
What You’ll Need to Excel:
Pit & Pipe experience.
Demonstrate leadership skills.
- Asbestos Removal Ticket.
A minimum of a C-Class driver’s license (MR License highly advantageous).
White Card.
Civil construction experience.
