Randstad has been given the opportunity to support the recruitment of our client, a global leader in sustainable waste management and environmental solutions.Situated in the south eastern suburb, they are dedicated to sustainable waste management, resource recovery, and creating a cleaner future for communities and the environment.

As the Branch Manager, you will take full ownership of the site operations. Leading a team of 20+ employees, including 2 Operations Managers and 3 Team Leads, you’ll drive operational excellence, commercial growth, and sustainability initiatives. You’ll have the autonomy to optimise processes, develop new solutions for clients, and deliver results that make a positive environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspire and manage a multi-disciplined team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Oversee operations to maximise safety, productivity, profitability, and compliance.
• Identify opportunities to develop innovative products and services that meet client needs and drive revenue growth.
• Implement new technologies and processes to enhance waste treatment efficiency and environmental outcomes.
• Ensure all waste management activities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Analyse performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to achieve operational goals.

About you

• Proven leadership experience in operations management in waste management, environmental services, or related industries (e.g. Liquids, organics/composting).
• Strong background in chemical processes, hazardous materials management, or sustainability initiatives.
• Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute revenue-generating strategies.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to drive efficiencies in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred).
