Randstad is looking for a skilled boilermaker with custom fabrication experience to take on a senior role at a St Marys workshop. In this position, you'll work closely with the workshop manager, mentoring the team while delivering top-quality results. Key responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components as per specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• perform routine maintenance
• weld steel to construct and repair
• Perform mechanical and hydraulic work as needed.
• Ensure compliance with legal and WHS obligations while meeting time constraints.
• Collaborate effectively within a team and communicate clearly to ensure project success.

Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: $48 - $52 p/h + Super

Location: St Marys

What you need

You will be a Boilermaker who takes pride in what you fix and create. You will be safety focused, physically fit and able to read and interpret technical drawings. We are looking for someone with leadership qualities or experience who is able to effectively communicate with others and work to maintain a positive, safe environment for the team.

• Certificate III Engineering - Fabrication Trade (light or heavy)
• White Card
• Driver's licence

Great to have

It would be great if you also have any of the following, but not essential

• Experience: mining equipment, hydraulics, overhead cranes, service elevators
• Previous experience leading small teams or coordinating with different tradespeople to plan out project completion
