We are seeking a skilled Boilermaker to join a growing team in the waste management and recycling industry. In this hands-on role located in Marsden Park, you'll work on the maintenance, fabrication, and repair of various waste trucks and heavy-duty machinery used in waste processing, including compactors, shredders, balers, and more. If you have experience in welding, metal fabrication, and mechanical systems, this is an exciting opportunity to work in a growing and essential sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, weld, and repair structural components, vehicles, and machinery used in waste management equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair any metalwork-related issues on-site, ensuring safety and minimal downtime.
• Work with a range of materials, including steel, stainless steel, and alloy, to fabricate parts and systems.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics for the fabrication and repair of equipment.
• Follow strict safety protocols and ensure all work complies with industry safety standards.
• Provide support and advice to other maintenance staff on technical and mechanical issues.

Skills & Experience:

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or equivalent experience in metal fabrication.
• Proven experience working with heavy machinery.
• Strong welding skills (MIG, TIG, and stick welding).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience in structural steel fabrication and heavy equipment repair.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in industrial settings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
