About the Role:
As the Before and After School Care Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our before and after school care program. You will work closely with our P&C committee, liaising with the school community to ensure a smooth and supportive environment for both children and staff. You will also be the Nominated Supervisor and play a key role in guiding and mentoring a passionate team, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Manage the day-to-day operations of the Before and After School Care program
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
- Supervise, lead, and support a team of educators, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture
- Oversee development, implement, and review engaging programs for children
- Liaise regularly with the school, P&C committee, and parents to ensure ongoing communication and feedback
- Take responsibility for the business management aspects of the service
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children, staff, and families
- Ensure all documentation, reports, and records are completed accurately and in a timely manner
About You: We are looking for someone with:
- Experience in a similar role, or a desire to step into a leadership position
- Proven ability to manage a medium-to-large service
- A passion for providing high-quality care and education for children
- Strong business management skills, including experience with budgeting, staffing, and liaising with stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, staff, and the wider community
- Completed or currently studying towards an Early Childhood Education and Care qualification (or equivalent)
