Senior Automation Engineer
Salary: $170,000 per annum
About the Role: My client, a leading financial services organisation, is seeking a skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on driving automation initiatives using AIX and Ansible, contributing to the optimisation of infrastructure and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using AIX and Ansible to improve system reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and integrate solutions seamlessly into existing workflows.
- Ensure all automation practices align with industry standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining security and compliance.
- Monitor and maintain automated systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly to minimise downtime.
- Provide technical expertise and support to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in system administration and automation, with a strong focus on AIX and Ansible.
- Proven track record of implementing automation solutions in a complex enterprise environment.
- Solid understanding of system architecture, networking, and security principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
