As the Assistant Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of property maintenance, grounds upkeep, and building projects at a dynamic educational institution. You will ensure the efficient operation of the campus facilities, manage a team, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Your role will involve leading maintenance planning, managing budgets, liaising with contractors, and ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supervising the maintenance and grounds teams to ensure efficient operations.
- Overseeing property maintenance, preventative schedules, and repair management.
- Managing essential services (fire safety, plumbing, etc.) and ensuring compliance with legal and safety regulations.
- Planning and overseeing building projects and renovations, ensuring they align with the budget and timeline.
- Managing budgets, obtaining quotations, and forecasting maintenance needs.
- Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) standards.
- Reporting directly to the Property Manager and supporting strategic decision-making.
