Reporting directly to the Production Manager, in this role you will be responsible for overseeing production operations. Your focus will be on driving safety, fostering a positive team culture, optimising process efficiency's, and ensuring production targets are met while upholding high-quality standards and delivering exceptional customer service.
Job Title : Assistant Production Manager
Salary: $85,000 - $93,000 per annum + superannuation
Hours: 6:30am - 2:30pm
Location: On-site Parking - located 15 minutes from Adelaide CBD.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborating with team leaders to ensure staff consistently meet efficiency and quality benchmarks to fulfil customer expectations.
- Overseeing all aspects of the production team, including recruitment, on-boarding, training, coaching, and providing ongoing performance feedback to ensure high standards are maintained.
- Cultivating a positive, motivated, and engaged team culture.
- Assisting the Production Manager with the daily operations and management of the branch.
... Key Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum of 18 months demonstrated experience in people management.
- A background in a manufacturing or production environment is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of 5S, LEAN, or HACCP principles is an advantage.
