You will provide leadership, direction, mentoring and management to all staff in a support role to the Facility Manager. The role is responsible for building and maintaining professional relationships with staff, management, residents and their families, and key internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential

• A current National Police Certificate
• Bachelor of Nursing
• Three years’ experience in a senior management role in aged care
• A personal philosophy and practical approach that is compatible with the organisations values which ensure respect for the dignity, privacy and individuality of residents and staff.
• Detailed knowledge of Aged Care legislation including the Aged Care Quality Standards and Accreditation process, Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC), electronic care management systems and OH&S legislation.
• Proven management and team leadership skills and working knowledge of personal care and resident lifestyle requirements in Aged Care and continuous improvement.
• Highly developed communication skills (written and verbal) and effective interpersonal
skills

Preferred

• Relevant post-graduate qualifications in management.
• Medium to high level computer literacy. Particular experience using Microsoft Word, Excel
and experience with electronic case management
• A current driver’s licence.
• Up to date COVID-19 vaccination.
