About the Role
This is a combined Assistant Director and Educational Leader position, where you’ll work closely with the Director and leadership team to run a high-quality service. You will be responsible for floor coverage, supporting programming, and providing leadership to a passionate team of educators. Your role will also include building and maintaining positive relationships with families and children in a warm, caring, and secure environment.
Key duties will include:
- Leading educational practices and ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all age group
- Overseeing floor coverage and relieving staff as needed
- Supporting with programming and administration tasks
- Promoting a positive and supportive team culture
- Ensuring the centre meets safety and compliance standards
About you
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent (mandatory)
- 3IC or above ECEC management experience
- Sound understanding of the EYLF and good early childhood practices
- Experience working towards (and achieving) targets as well as meeting safety and compliance standards
