Our client are looking for a skilled Architectural Draftsperson to join a key Victorian Government department for an exciting 3–6 month assignment. This role offers a great opportunity to contribute to important public sector projects, collaborating with teams across the government and external consultants to deliver high-quality architectural documentation and designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed architectural drawings and plans using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and stakeholders to meet project requirements.
- Support the design process by creating clear, precise drafts and revisions based on feedback.
- Ensure architectural designs align with relevant regulations, policies, and government standards.
- Participate in site visits and project meetings as needed.
- Assist in project coordination and contribute to ensuring projects are delivered on time.
About You:
- Strong background in architectural drafting, with a focus on AutoCAD.
- Previous experience in producing architectural documentation and design drawings.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders.
- Previous experience working on government or public sector projects is an advantage.
- Ability to attend the Melbourne CBD office a few times per week, with full working rights in Australia.
