As an APS6 Project Officer, you will play a key role in project planning, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Service Design Division. Your work will contribute to the development of clear, consistent processes and guidance that enhance transparency and service delivery.
About the Role:
The APS6 Project Officer will support project delivery by maintaining key documents such as reporting dashboards, registers, schedules, and action item logs. They will monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and manage updates in collaboration with Branch leadership. The role involves contributing to business case preparation, supporting reporting and data improvement initiatives, and assisting with planning changes affecting NDIA staff and stakeholders. Additional duties include coordinating meetings, preparing minutes, and drafting formal project communications.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in program analysis, including establishing and managing reporting and monitoring frameworks.
- Strong skills in data analysis, data visualisation, and preparing reports/presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge of program management methodologies, reporting processes, and risk assessment.
- Proven ability to assess change impacts on customers and stakeholders in complex environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in disability, social services, or the public sector.
- Experience within large-scale transformation programs
