Your new role
As an APS 6 Procurement Officer, you will ensure the integrity and efficiency of procurement processes, contributing directly to the success of strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Overseeing procurement governance and compliance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
- Supporting procurement processes for high-value and complex contracts.
- Driving continuous improvement in procurement strategies and practices.
- Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across various departments.
- Contributing to ethical and transparent procurement practices.
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience in managing procurement processes within a federal government or equivalent setting.
- Strong knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and relevant legislation.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- A proactive approach to driving continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
This position is exclusively open to Australian citizens who can obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance. Successful candidates will be offered a non-ongoing opportunity with possible extension for the right candidate.
Permanent employees are only insisted to apply for the role for a S26 transfer.
