As an Investigation Officer in the Investigations Branch you will:
- Conduct and proactively manage a caseload of Investigations relating to a variety of jurisdictions, complexities and geography.
- Collect, manage, assess, and analyse evidential material and confidential information gathered during investigation activities.
- Have the ability and the confidence to make sound judgements based on thorough research, problem solving, innovation and evidence-based practice, to effectively resolve matters.
- Manage own work responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner, seeking advice / escalating complex matters appropriately.
- Produce investigation reports and briefs to your EL1 Assistant Director on recommended administrative action(s) and / or other remedies.

The following education, experience (or relevant transferrable skills) would be beneficial, but not essential:
- Experience in complaint handling, investigations or regulation (such as application assessment, compliance monitoring, audit or enforcement).

A current Baseline Security Clearance is preferred but not madatory.
