About the Opportunity
APS6 Guidance Lead, contract roles with ASAP start and end date of 31/01/2025, possibility of renewal. This full-time position offers a flexible, hybrid work environment, ensuring a great work-life balance. The role is based in Richmond with some in-office time required. About the Role
The role involves leading the creation and regular updates of internal and external guidance materials, ensuring they are participant-focused, accessible, and aligned with the Agency’s policies. The role will require engaging with participants and disability peak bodies, responding to feedback to ensure their needs are central to the development of guidance. It requires a strong understanding of participant pathways, specific cohorts, and technical processes within SAP CRM and PACE business systems. Additionally, the role will involve analysing data to develop guidance that reflects best practices and Agency policies.
About the Team
The Service Guidance and Practice Branch is responsible for presenting Agency policy, improvements and system enhancements in clear operational guidelines to support the Agency's front line (National Delivery). This guidance enables front line staff to make consistent decisions and participants to have choice and control over their lives.
The branch also develops content for participants and external stakeholders to support Our Guidelines, including letters, forms, factsheets and guides to what the Agency does and does not fund.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Update Guidance: Lead the creation and regular updates of internal and external guidance materials, ensuring they are participant-focused, aligned with Agency policies, and meet plain English and accessibility standards.
- Engage with Participants and Stakeholders: Listen and respond to feedback from participants and disability peak bodies, ensuring their needs are central to the development of guidance.
- Understand Participant Pathways and Systems: Demonstrate knowledge of key stages in the participant pathway, specific cohorts, and technical processes within SAP CRM and PACE business systems.
- Analyse Data and Systems: Use supporting data and systems to develop guidance that aligns with the Agency’s policy positions and best practices.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Initiate, build, and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, providing guidance expertise and advice.
- Continuous Improvement and Workload Management: Support ongoing improvements, maintain best practices, manage multiple priorities effectively, meet deadlines, and ensure accuracy and high standards in all deliverables.
