APS6 Co-Design & Engagement Officer, 12-month contract with a strong possibility of renewal. This full-time position offers a flexible, hybrid work environment, ensuring a great work-life balance. The role is based in Richmond and some in-office time is required. Only Australian Citizens are eligible to apply.
The Co-Design and Engagement Branch supports all Agency policies, processes or initiatives that require a co-design approach and/or interface with community, mainstream and sector stakeholders. The branch provides advice and operational support when engaging with sector stakeholders and the disability community. It is responsible.
About the Role
This role focuses on engaging with people with disabilities, their families, and carers to enhance their experience and social participation through consistent communication and outreach. It involves managing relationships with key stakeholders, delivering engagement projects, representing the agency at events, and supporting enquiries, while applying strong communication, project management, and facilitation skills.
