Join a Federal Government agency driving accessibility and inclusion. This role sits within the Office of Agency Accessibility and Inclusion (OAAI) Branch, supporting inclusive workplace initiatives and the NDIA Auslan Interpreting Program. You will play a key role in managing workflows, driving continuous improvement, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Auslan Interpreting Booking System, supporting staff, assigning bookings, and overseeing workflow.
- Handle escalations, feedback, and complaints from staff, ensuring efficient resolution.
- Implement and evaluate the NDIA Auslan Interpreting Program, improving outcomes through collaboration and innovation.
- Lead OAAI projects with support, delivering project outcomes in line with the Agency’s project management framework.
- Capture and analyse data to measure performance, providing insights and recommendations.
- Develop innovative initiatives and contribute to business improvement strategies to enhance service efficiency and workplace practices.
- Contribute to team objectives and prioritise OAAI tasks, projects, and services.
- Work independently or with limited guidance in areas of OAAI expertise.
Essential Criteria:
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse teams.
- Strong written and analytical skills, with experience developing reports, guidelines, and business documents.
- Experience in continuous improvement, with a focus on process enhancements and service optimisation.
Desirable Criteria:
- Lived experience with disability, providing insight-driven policy and program development.
- Understanding of business systems and relevant digital tools.
- Experience in process and guideline development, including operational best practices.
