Purpose:
This role contributes to a program that supports organizations to achieve specific certifications and enables informed consumer choices. The Assessment Officer is responsible for evaluating applications against program requirements, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and review applications to ensure they meet the program's criteria.
- Provide guidance and support to various stakeholders involved in the application process.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with participating organizations.
- Contribute to program integrity and process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare internal and external documentation.
- Support the effective operation of the program.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound judgment, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
Highly Desirable:
- Qualifications or experience in emissions, or other climate or environmental science.
- Experience in a certification or regulatory environment.
Security Clearance:
- Baseline (Protected) or ability to obtain.
