Join a dynamic team of 118 staff, including LH and APS personnel, dedicated to supporting participants in managing their plan budgets effectively. Your role involves:

- Discussing plan overspending with participants and their representatives.
- Identifying high spending early in the plan duration.
- Educating participants on plans and budgets.
- Addressing known and unknown overspending situations.
- Helping participants utilize remaining funds efficiently.
- Conducting virtual discussions in a friendly and appreciative environment.
- Working from home with a hybrid setup (2 days in the office per week).
Candidates:
We are looking for candidates who:
- Possess excellent phone and communication skills.
- Can build rapport quickly, even in challenging conversations.
- Have strong decision-making abilities to determine conversation types and support strategies.
- Work well within a team and can operate virtually across Australia.
- Exhibit good investigative skills in IT systems to review participant records and interactions.
- Thrive in a changing environment with a brand-new team still building processes.
- Can work with KPIs, discuss budgets, and make calculations.
Desirable Experience:
- Lived experience or understanding of disability.
- Ability to work with figures and perform calculations (experience with budgets not necessary).
Training and Support:
- Comprehensive training with 2 dedicated sessions per week for new starters.
- Support from higher-level staff, including Quality Officers and Team Leaders.
- Buddy system for new joiners.
Typical Week:
- Handle 2-3 phone calls per day for new participants (KPI subject to review).
- Follow up with participants after initial contact.
- Participate in start and end-of-week team meetings.
- Receive one-on-one coaching on a fortnightly basis with Team Leaders.
