About your new role
As a Tribunal Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operations and assisting members and registrars with the conduct of reviews. Your responsibilities will include:
APS 3
- Manage cases and caseloads with precision, including initiating applications and finalizing review decisions
- Handle correspondence efficiently through scanning, receipting, and processing
- Act as a primary point of contact for Tribunal service users, addressing inquiries related to ongoing cases
- Receive and handle inquiries on behalf of Tribunal members
- Efficiently direct inquiries to appropriate Tribunal departments
APS 4
- Managing a caseload and performing case analysis tasks
- Engaging with service users and providing accurate procedural information
- Conducting outreach calls to self-represented applicants
- Providing administrative support and maintaining case files
What you will need
- Australian citizenship required
- Able to pass an Australian Federal Police Check
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sound judgment and initiative
What you will get in return
- $42-$48 per hour
- Monday - Friday 37.5 hour weeks
