Mechanical Fitter – Townsville Region

We are currently seeking a dedicated Mechanical Fitters to join our team in our Townsville workshop. As a key member of our workforce, you will play a vital role in maintaining and servicing machinery and equipment to ensure the smooth operation of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform mechanical fitting tasks, including maintenance, repairs, and assembly of machinery and equipment.
Work as part of a team to complete projects within deadlines.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.

Essential Criteria:

Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a Drug & Alcohol Test.
Must have a current driver’s license.
Ability to work Monday to Friday, including overtime as required.
Must live locally in the Townsville region.

Preferred Criteria:

Confined Space Ticket (preferred but not essential).
White Card (preferred).
Experience in heavy industry (preferred).
Rail industry experience (preferred but not essential).
