About the Role
As an Agile Coach, you will support a large Agile Release Train consisting of multiple Agile teams. Your primary focus will be guiding and coaching senior leadership to align with Agile principles, enabling better customer outcomes and faster, fit-for-purpose implementations. You will facilitate learning, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and champion Agile practices across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with executive leadership to deliver high-profile budget initiatives through Agile methodologies.
- Facilitate learning and development through individual and team coaching.
- Coach senior managers to adopt Agile practices, ensuring alignment from the top down.
- Communicate Agile principles, Scrum practices, and the overall operating model throughout the organisation.
- Advocate for the use of metrics and objective measures to track performance and outcomes.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with teams to ensure projects remain on track.
- Apply Agile principles to troubleshoot issues and maintain project momentum.
- Lead stand-up meetings and cross-functional sessions to review project status.
- Support teams in resource allocation to uphold Agile practices.
Mandatory Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain baseline government or NV-1 clearance.
- Australian citizenship.
- Minimum of 3 year's experience as an Agile Coach.
- Proven experience in executive Agile coaching and delivering large, complex programs of work.
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Degree and/or certification in Agile Coaching or Agile Program Delivery.
- Experience working in government or public sector environments.
