Job Title: Casual Before and After School Care Worker
Location: Mackay QLD and Surrounding Suburbs
Job Description: We are seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team as Before and After School Care Team in Darwin + Palmerston. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe and engaging environment for children before and after school hours. Your duties will include supervising activities, assisting coordinator, facilitating games and crafts, and ensuring the well-being of all children in your care. You be able to work with different schools and OSHC providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise children before and after school hours
- Facilitate age-appropriate activities and games
- Assist children with homework and academic tasks
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the program.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children preferred but not mandatory
- No qualifications required
- Studying towards or Qualified in Early Childhood or Education highly favourable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Must have Valid Employee Working with Children Check (BLUE Card) required
Pay Rate: Starting from $35 per hour, with potential for increases based on experience and qualifications.
