An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join a State Government Department within their Finance and Business Support Unit. This role will focus on financial operations, including invoicing, fee collection, disbursements, refunds, reconciliation, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing and reconciling high volumes of financial transactions.
Managing refunds, disbursements, and fee collections.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including schools and families.
Ensuring compliance with financial policies and legislation.
Contributing to process and policy improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
About You:
Experience in accounts receivable, reconciliation, and financial data analysis.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Ability to manage workflows in a high-volume environment.
A detail-oriented mindset with excellent organisational skills.
A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
