Accounts Payable/Receivable Team Leader
Location: Melbourne CBD – Hybrid (3 days on-site)
Contract: 12-week contract
Hourly Rate: $60–$64 per hour + super
Start Date: Immediate start
Randstad is a preferred recruitment partner for a reputable State Government organisation, and we’re seeking an experienced Finance Team Lead to oversee accounts payable and receivable functions while driving efficiencies and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing financial transactions team.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversee month-end reconciliation and reporting, including aged debtors analysis.
- Drive process improvements through automation and system enhancements.
- Provide expert advice on financial queries and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and financial controls.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Tertiary qualification in commerce, accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience leading and managing finance teams.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable/receivable processes.
- High-level proficiency in Excel and financial systems (Oracle experience is advantageous).
- Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to drive innovation and process improvements.
- Experience in State Government (desirable).
