This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join the finance team in a role focused on accounts payable, with exposure to a broad range of financial tasks.
About the Role
As part of the central finance function, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting both accounts payable and receivable processes. You’ll work in a fast-paced but collaborative environment, contributing to cash flow management, financial reporting, and compliance activities across multiple business entities.
Your Key Responsibilities:
... - End-to-end accounts payable processing, including invoice entry, supplier payments, and reconciliations
- Assisting with bank reconciliations and general ledger accuracy
- Monitoring and reporting on pharmacy cash flow and financial performance
- Supporting internal audits and ensuring compliance with financial policies and controls
- Maintaining accurate records using MYOB and internal systems
- Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
- Providing backup support across the finance team during periods of leave
About You:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar Accounts Officer or Accounts Payable role
- Strong numeracy, accuracy, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of MYOB or similar accounting systems
- Proficient in Excel and financial reporting tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement
